Cost/Savings

  • Average Rough-In cost is between $30 to $35 per sq.ft.

  • Porches, Patios, Garages are less per sq.ft.

  • Example = 2,100 sq.ft. house shell is between $60K & $65K

  • Interior costs are exactly the same as any other type of construction method. Finish grades, countertops, flooring, fixtures, cabinetry, and interior trim are all dependent on what level of quality the homeowner chooses.

  • Projects have varied from $100 to $150 per sq.ft. to complete. Again depending on interior levels of quality chosen.

  • The biggest difference in the metal panel cladding is the shell of the exterior normally saves $20 per sq.ft.

  • Example = 2100 sq.ft. home cost with metal panel is $60K. Compared to siding and shingles cost of $92K. Both will have another $220K + to finish the interior. Appraisal comes in at $300K when completed. $279K vs $312K
